Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, 2008 DesignReasons sells the Vegetal Chair designed by the Bouroullec Brothers for Vitra. Shapes from the world of vegetation serve as inspiration for Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec’s new Vegetal Chair, as they did for Algues. Its plant-like structure made of polyamide dyed throughout goes to the limits of the technically feasible, and the six colors (unusual for plastic chairs) emphasize the link to nature. Vegetal Chair is stacking and suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Materials Stackable Stacking is great for restaurant use. Glides Four-legged base, with hard glides for carpets or glides with felt pads for hard floors Seat & Base: Made of polyamide dyed through. NOTE: Special additives slow down the fading process caused by ultraviolet rays. However, leaving the stacking Vegetal Chair exposed to the sun for an extended period of time can result in color changes.
