The Panton Chair was created by Verner Panton in the 1960's as an inexpensive industrial product.  Together with Vitra, he developed a version that was ready for series production (1967). It was the very first single mold all plastic chair. Also suitable for outdoor use. Special additives slow down the fading process caused by ultraviolet rays. However, leaving the chair exposed to the sun for an extended period of time can result in changes in the colour. We recommend that the chair not be left in the sun longer than necessary.
