   ALLEGRA SEANS COLEMAN  DOLORES BROWNE

Allegra Saens Coleman and Dolores Browne would like to welcome you to DesignReasons, the revolutionary store that explores functional art that is inspirational and unique.  After having worked for over 30 years together on various projects in the art world, Allegra and Dolores realized that doing business over the Internet would give them freedom and opportunity, offering superlative artistry at amazing prices because their overhead was minimal.

Dolores is a talented and dedicated artist scoping a myriad of dimensions.  She began her education at The Moore College of Art, located in Philadelphia, PA, and remained in Philadelphia to receive her BA in Interior Design at The University of the Arts.  After spending 2 years at The Barnes Foundation, she decided to continue at The Barnes Arboretum and then obtained her architectural degree at Drexel University.  Throughout her years she received a variety of awards for her artistic finesse and worked on a variety of projects including graphic designs (SGK, Trigen, Gorilla Systems Corp., Karl's Baby Furniture, Curson's Advertising, Buzan Inc., United States Environmental Agency, The Stock Exchange Nightclub, LVTC Inc., A New Twist and others), Building Restorations, TPDS Products (doors, sit down and step up dance tables, snake mirrors, and steel repository). and many other projects.  Her works have been noted throughout the US and many articles have praised her innovative style.

Her partner, Allegra, was immersed in the world of art from birth.  At the early age of 10, she received her first award as an artist.  Veering into performance, she danced acrobatically from 30ft rafters and appeared as Puck in A Midsummer's Night Dream and Ariel in The Tempest as a teenager.  After traveling to LA California and earning her BFA in Theater, she continued her career as an actress throughout the US and in London, England.  Among her favorites was The Magic Mirror Theater Company where she was able to teach kids and perform for them simultaneously.  After venturing into the world of film, she realized that she needed to spread her wings.  She found playwrighting and fell in love with the world of the word.  After being honored with The Florida State Grant for New Playwrights for her first play and another award from The Tampa Theater for her second, her parents convinced her to earn her Juris Doctorate.  After acquiring her JD, she was offered an opportunity in creating and developing TPDS Club, which became an extremely successful event space, known for its imaginative and inventive designs and ideas.  Meanwhile, she never stopped writing.  On July 27, 2003 she was blessed with the most magnificent creation of all, a son she named William Thaddeus Coleman IV and three years later was given a second miracle, Amadeus.  These two phenomena have given her the incentive to use the brilliance of the Internet to explore functional sculptures as a business.

Together Allegra and Dolores want to refrain from the ordinary upscale design and indulge in the supreme.  If you are interested in or have ideas about functional art, we can assist you with your aspirations.
